– Tight. Your sling should feel snug, with no loose fabric.
– In view at all times. You should always be able to see baby’s face without moving the fabric.
– Close enough to kiss. Baby’s head should rest comfortably near your chin.
– Keep chin off chest. Their chin should stay clear of their chest to keep airways open.
– Supported back. Baby’s back should be naturally curved and well supported.
